
After six years of detailed and painstaking research, the Friends of Wrexham Museums are proud to publish: Wrexham – In Memoriam 1914-18. Their 493 page illustrated soft-back book tells the stories of the over 600 men and women from varied backgrounds who risked their lives for others and paid the highest price during that war.

The book includes 68 Joneses, 25 Williamses, 24 Davieses, 23 Robertses, 15 Edwardses, 15 Hugheses, 10 Griffithses among the biographies of the fallen of the borough of Wrexham, as well as, original articles on Wrexham during WWI, Wrexham’s war memorials, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and its WWI memorials and Wrexham: The War Losses, all illustrated with scores of colour and sepia photographs.
