Tŷ Pawb’s Designer Maker Project – Hippodrome Lampshade

Wrexham History were delighted to be invited to the launch of the Hippodrome Lampshade, a new product exclusively available at Siop//Shop @ Tŷ Pawb.

The design of the lampshade was inspired by the Hippodrome light restored by the team at Wrexham History which now hangs in the South Arcade of Tŷ Pawb.

These bespoke lampshades have  been hand-crafted by participants in Tŷ Pawb’s Designer Maker Project, using traditional steam bending techniques; in a series of workshops from August to November 2018.

The launch took take place at 2.30pm on Thurs 22^nd November, which included a ceremonial switching on of the lamps in the shop window.
