Located on the Chester Road. The hall itself was the residence of the Cunliffe family and was also the home at one time of the infamous Judge Jeffries. The hall dated from the mid 18th century and was demolished in 1956, although the entrance gates and lodge still remain. The lodge dates from 1887 and was one of four which served the Acton Hall Estate.
